Changwon LG Sakers (KBL) landed 30-year old American guard Terrico White (196-97kg-90, college: Ole Miss). He played in the summer at Cariduros de Fajardo in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 9 games he averaged impressive 21.3ppg, 5.0rpg, 3.2apg and 1.6spg. It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN 2nd Team, All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week. White also played for Armored Athlete in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
In 2010 he was drafted by Detroit Pistons (NBA) in second round (36th overall). White attended University of Mississippi and it is his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. White has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to nine different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). White has played previously professionally in Australia (Perth Wildcats), Bahrain (Al-Manama), Israel (Hapoel Eilat and Ironi Nes Ziona), Russia (Enisey), Serbia (KK Radnicki 1950 Kragujevac), Turkey (Gaziantep), NBA (Phoenix Suns), NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars and NAZ Suns) and South Korea (SK Knights).
His game is described as: (by Aran Smith for NBADraft.net in 2010)
An aggressive offensive player capable of scoring off the dribble by blowing by his man or knocking down outside shots Excellent pull up off the dribble as well as a fierce crossover Has a solid in between game Extremely confident, bordering on fearless.
Can be too aggressive at times and force the issue both passing and shooting Also a little too much of a showman who can get caught up in trying to impress instead of making the sound play
